Graduate Student

For gaining functional access to sparse dopamine neurons in the dorsal raphe nucleus (DRN) and visualization, I injected to cre-dependent viruses carrying Channelrhodopsin-2 fused with enhanced yellow fluorescent protein (Green, AAV-Ef1a-DIO-ChR2-eYFP) and inhibitory DREADD fused with mCherry (Red, AAV-hSyn-DIO-hM4Di-mCherry) directly into the DRN of a TH(tyrosine hydroxylase)-cre mice. TH immunostaining (Blue) was performed to identify dopamine neurons.
