Bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) are known for their strengths, which are near the theoretically achievable maximum. Less well known is that owing to a lack of crystal structure, BMGs exhibit a lustrous mirror finish when cooled into an ingot. This picture exhibits a 1.5 cm thick "as-cooled" ingot with an image of a sunrise reflecting on its surface. As you look at this image, ask yourself: "where is the camera lens?"
